Well, I went to WI on Sat. And, to little surprise, I was up .4. That is about 6 ounces, which could be taken care of with a good pee. But the problem is, I did enough damage over the weekend that no amount of urine could justify what I'll likely see at Friday's WI.
We went home over the weekend, and while good food choices are available, it's not like it is here at home. Here, we have a pantry and fridge stocked of yummy low-point sweet and salty snacks so we never get hungry and can avoid binging on crap. For instance, we don't have generic oreo's at home, so when they're available at mom's, we think we're getting away with something. And since there isn't something easy and ready-to-make when we are hungry, we snack and binge on crap to get us through the hunger.
When we got to the house on Sat., around noon, I hadn't eaten anything beyond the 7 a.m. breakfast bar we had before leaving town. So when I was hungry upon arrival, I had hoped there would be something easy to make. Not the case at mom's, and I should be used to that. So instead I waited about an hour and a half for a taco salad. By the time I could eat, I wolfed it down. Not a behavior I enjoy engaging in.
So we had ice cream. We had Powder Keg (sooooo good) pizza. we had breadsticks and cookies. We had biscuits and gravy and a greasy spoon breakfast. The only thing I can do about it at this piont is make better choices - I had 1-point pudding before dinner when I was hungry. Zu and I took a walk for a half hour, hoping that burning a couple points would help alleviate the damage of the weekend. And, the only way I can re-up my lung capacity is to get it workin'. First, a walk, next, elliptical! Hopefully I can continue the walks throughout the week, although it gets dark so early that I'll probly need to hit the Y.
Although we ate a lot over the weekend, we skimped on sleep. So I'm off to an early bedtime, tomorrow starts at 630 and ends at 930, so wish me luck.
