So I am a BIG fan of Kashi foods. Lots of grainy fiber that regulates, um, your tummy. So imagine my excitement that Kashi came out with cookies! Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies! God is on weight watchers, Amen!
Here's the thing - each cookie is 2 points. There are 8 in the pkg. I tend to eat the package. They are about $3 for a package. That's more than two bucks a cookie. And considering homemade cookies, which are much more fun to make AND eat are also two points, the Kashi variety begins to lose their tempting-ness. Of course, I can't just open a box to get homemade chocolate chip cookies, but that can be a good thing too.
So, as much as I love Kashi, eff 'em. They're rupping me off, and cost too much in too many ways.
